The meeting will begin with light snacks and refreshments. Registration, networking, and program. Cartoon Network is presenting an informative topic on the role of story and providing fun giveaways! This meeting is a must-attend!
BIO:
Matthew Schwartz is the content designer for Cartoon Network's massively-multiplayer online game, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. As content designer for FusionFall, Schwartz is responsible for creating the content that FusionFall players experience in the game, including developing scenarios, writing storylinesundefined and designing missions. Schwartz reports to Chris Waldron, Executive Producer for FusionFall, at Cartoon Network’s offices in Atlanta, GA. Schwartz joined Cartoon Network in 2000 as creative manager for CartoonNetwork.com. As creative manager, he helped develop Cartoon Network's online content strategies, including destination websites (Toonami, Teen Titans, Clone Wars), streaming video offerings (Toonami: Reactor) and games (Codename: Kids Next Door – Operation: B.E.S.T., recipient of a 2004 Emmy Award nomination). In 2005, Schwartz was a senior copy editor for Turner Broadcasting's online gaming service, GameTap, before joining the FusionFall development team. In 2007, Schwartz wrote five original episodes for Calling Cat-22!, a series of shorts that he created for Cartoon Network's Wedgies project. Prior to joining Cartoon Network, Schwartz worked as a development assistant for MTV Networks (Spy Groove, Undergrads) and as a location scout and manager for independent film productions (The Opportunists, The Yards, Cherry) throughout New York City.
