Struggling to finish (or start?) some art/design project and just need something on the schedule to get you there? Want the side benefit of peers able to give help or critiques or compliments? Need help for those moments when you just know the head you've sculpted looks funny but can't put your finger on why? Or just don't want to code shaders alone? Or you're angry at Blender booleans? Well do we have the opportunity for you!

For a series of Monday evenings, gather in the GGDA Discord and just start making your art, just as you would at home or at a cafe. Stream (or not) whatever you're working on, and talk (or not) about it as you go. No rules on what you're working on!

For the final Monday of the series, May 11th,, we'll have a meetup at Alex's apartment, so you can celebrate your project and meet the Discord voices in the real. For those who can't make it to Atlanta, we'll have laptops set up so you can share your beautiful creations! Although only the final session is officially scheduled to take place at Alex's, you're welcome to reach out directly if you need a quiet place to work with internet and (almost) unlimited snacks and coffee.

Ideally only give solicited feedback and advice, but we're all awkward here, so another rule is to be cool with receiving unsolicited feedback and advice!

Feel free to make it a Mondays-only project, or if you're inspired, continue your work between sessions, and let the Monday gatherings be an accountability system to keep your design project going. Whatever is fun for you.

Because it's not a tutorial, there will likely be substantial periods of silence, so it's recommended to set up your Discord headphones in advance to play your favorite vibe music during the quiet parts and whenever you feel like tuning out to focus.

What: Art-Work Online Series with an End of Series In-Person Celebration, for All Things Design/Drawn/Blender/CAD/Tech art/Architecture

When: 7-9 pm Monday nights, April 13-May 11. Despite what the calendar shows, these are only on Monday nights. You are welcome to stop by for one, some or all.
