There is no free parking near tonight’s venue (we recommend MARTA). The easiest parking is in the Centergy parking garage. Take the elevator to the 5th floor and use the bridge to walk to Tech Square. The first building on your left is 75 5th Street. We are on the third floor in the Hodges Room. Look for the GGDA banner.

We are planning a special July GGDA meeting in coordination with ATDC, Game Tech Hub, CREATE-X and sponsored by Acclime. We will discuss how game devs and other startups can have an international presence, how to localize, how to get international sales and more. 

6-7 pm: Food and Networking. Food sponsored by Acclime

7-8 pm: Presentations on how to succeed internationally

8-9 pm: Networking

Discussions on international partnerships, sales, localization and more.

Speakers

Asante Bradford is Project Manager for Digital Entertainment and Media for the Global Commerce Division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

Blair Lucas is a highly experienced founder, director and leader with an inspiring entrepreneurial background spanning many countries.

Now Group Commercial Director of Acclime, Blair co-founded the original Australian arm of the business, building it from start-up phase through to exit as a bootstrapped entity. During this growth journey, he created and fostered global sales teams and led the global expansion into new markets. He has also been director of more than 100 companies from over 40 countries and across 20 industries, supporting them to successfully expand into Australia and the USA.

Blair is an engaging and creative speaker, with a unique energy that helps him inspire and motivate audiences from various sectors. He is extremely generous in sharing his successes and insights to help others turn their entrepreneurial vision into reality. He actively mentors graduates entering the corporate world, as well as those wanting to transition from the corporate space to a start-up, and has a particular interest in supporting marginalised communities, including female founders and the LGBT community.

Joe Rubagumya is a CEO of Integral Technical Group, llc a company with a mission to support game developers grow domestic and international audiences. With over a decade in business, ITG has emerged as a crème de crème in translation and localization industry. Prior to devoting his work fulltime to ITG, Joe served in various capacities at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), managing multiple quality management information systems to support client partners around the globe.
