Atlanta ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter Forming

January 21, 2016

"If you are not familiar, you can learn more about what ACM SIGGRAPH does here. We have been meeting regularly to plan our first big event, tentatively in March. This will be the Atlanta Chapter's premiere event and will be open to the public. We plan to have many events covering various topics such as digital art, interactive technology, game design, visual effects, graphic design, film and television production, and more.

There are a lot of areas of interest to cover, and being that this is a community effort, we look forward to your personal interest and needs in specific events. Many of you have expressed an interest in helping. Please respond to this email if you would like to be present at our next planning meeting, and let us know your general availability.

One thing we need right now is everyone's attention with applying for our ACM SIGGRAPH Atlanta Chapter membership. This is very important in order for us to continue planning chapter events. To sign up, just fill out this form with your full name and a valid email address. The first 10 to sign up will get their yearly member fee discounted at $25, compared to $35. We will be collecting member fees at a later point. You may find out more information about the charter here.
