Dr. Luke Dicken is a distinguished expert in artificial intelligence (AI) for video games, currently serving as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Take-Two Interactive. In this role, he leads the company's AI strategy, focusing on integrating advanced AI technologies into game development to enhance player experiences and operational efficiency.
Dr. Dicken earned his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence for Games from the University of Strathclyde, where he also completed a Master of Research in Autonomous Planning for Automated Systems. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, as well as a Master of Science in Bio-Informatics from the University of Edinburgh.
Before joining Take-Two, Dr. Dicken held several key positions at Zynga, including Senior Director of Applied AI and Director of Central and Strategic Analytics. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing Zynga's Generative AI strategy and overseeing various AI-driven projects that advanced the company's analytics capabilities.
Beyond his corporate roles, Dr. Dicken has been actively involved in the gaming community. He served on the Board of Directors of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) from 2013 to 2016 and is the Chair of the IGDA Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting game developers.
